June 10 Muni Service Changes Adds Service on Connector Routes By Clive Tsuma The 38R Geary Rapid will run every 6 minutes starting June 10 Starting Saturday, June 10, the SFMTA will be adding Muni service on several lines to address crowding, wait times and to support increased summer tourism. We’re also making some stop changes to serve more customers and make the service more accessible and reliable.  Increased Service  To address crowding and reduce pass-ups, we’re adding service on the 1 California between Clay and Drumm streets and California Street and Presidio Avenue – where demand is highest – on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  We’re also going to be starting service earlier on the 1X California Express, at 7:30 a.m. instead of 8 a.m., in response to customer feedback, as well as adding stops at Cherry, Spruce and Laurel streets and Presidio Avenue.   We’re also extending the evening service to the Presidio at 30 Stockton seven days a week. Valentine's Tulipmania

Feb. 8-17, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
Pier 39

Spring is nearly here and that means Tulipmania returns to Pier 39 with daily guided tours of the thousands of tulips brought in for the occasion. Lasting from February 8th through 17th, this Valentine's weekend is a perfect time to experience the vibrant colors and delightful scents of the tulips dispersed around Pier 39. Learn more about the flowers, receive helpful gardening tips and more with one of the guided tours or stop by for a self-guided tour any time before the event concludes.

How to Get There on Muni: Head up to Fisherman's Wharf via the E Embarcadero or F Market streetcar lines, as well as the 8 Bayshore, 39 Coit, or 47 Van Ness routes.

Muni Service Notes: There are no planned service changes for this event.

Valentine's Goat Cuddling

Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
North Beach

That's right, Valentine's Day but with goats. Spend time with that special someone during this unique happy hour event in North Beach that features goat cuddling, photos with goats, local art and artists and, of course, beverages for all ages. All proceeds from this event will go to support City Grazing, a local charitable organization that provides landscaping aimed at sustainable land management and fire risk reduction through the use of goat grazing.

How to Get There on Muni: Head to the event using the 8 Bayshore, 30 Stockton, 39 Coit or 45 Union/Stockton routes.

Muni Service Notes: There are no planned service changes for this event.

New T Third Connecting Chinatown to Sunnydale Starts Saturday By Christopher Ward New Muni Metro map. This Saturday the T Third starts its long-awaited new route connecting Chinatown-Rose Pak Station from 4th & King in Central Subway, Mondays through Fridays, 6 a.m. to midnight every 10 minutes and Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to midnight every 12 minutes.   The K Ingleside will now travel between Balboa Park and Embarcadero Station. Customers using Embarcadero & Folsom, Embarcadero & Brannan and 2nd and King platforms should transfer to the N Judah at Powell Station or 4th & King. Watch the new Muni Metro service  map animations . The following bus service changes also start this Saturday: The T Third Bus will now run along 3rd and 4th Streets in SoMa and on Stockton Street north of Market Street to align with the new T Third rail line and will no longer travel on the Embarcadero and Market Street.   The 6 Haight/Parnassus  will now run until 12 a.m. daily
